40 hour – Workplace Literacy and Numeracy by SMTC (Intermediate)
The Intermediate module is targeted at adults who may have basic survival needs for very routine social demands. They can interpret simple learnt phrases easily and simple phrases containing familiar vocabulary, read slowly with frequent repetition. Learners in the Intermediate module may be able to interpret simple material on familiar topics such as simple directions, schedules, signs, maps and menus. They may be able to fill out forms requiring basic personal information and write short, simple notes and messages based on familiar situations. In terms of their employability, they can handle jobs and/or training that involve basic written instructions and diagrams if they can be clarified.
Skills-Future Credit can be used for this course
Participant will receive a Certificate of attendance at the end of the course issued by SMTC
